What is gas holder?

A gas holder or gasholder, also known as a gasometer, is a large container in which natural gas or town gas is stored near
atmospheric pressure at ambient temperatures. The volume of the container follows the quantity of stored gas, with pressure coming from the weight of a movable cap. Typical volumes for large gas holders are about 50,000 cubic metres (1,800,000 cu ft), with 60-metre (200 ft) diameter structures.
Gas holders now tend to be used for balancing purposes to ensure that gas pipes can be operated within a safe range of pressures,rather than for actually storing gas for later use.

Introduction of Double membrane gas holder

There are two basic types of gas holder: the water-sealed and the rigid waterless.
Double membrane gas holder is Dry-seal-type gas holder.But it adopts new technology compared with traditional Dry-seal gas holder.

It consists of an external membrane which forms the visible outer round contour of the tank, an internal membrane and a bottom membrane which encloses the actual gas space.
A blower provide air to the space between inner and outer membranes to regulate the variation in gas input and gas output, thus keeping the gas pressure inside the gas holder tank at a constant level, it also keeps the external membrane rigid protecting it against poor weather conditions. The supporting air in the space between the inner and outer membranes is balanced with the addition of an air damper valve.

DIFFERENT TYPE of  GAS HOLDER

This type of gas holder is separately,it can be used for storage nature gas,LPG or landfill gas,etc.

The outter shape can be customized,such as half-elliptic,cacuminous hemisphere,square shape etc.

Top cover biogas holder .

The type of gas holder is a top cover installed on the steel or concrete biogas digester for collecting biogas.
It is economical for biogas system and save room for installing biogas system.

The worker will mark the shape according to the drawings designed by our engineer.And they will put material on the machine for cutting.

Mounted on Surface of land Type

Shape: sphere
Membrane Mounted on Surface of land type is separated sphere. It can store and output biogas independently, and can be erected on the ground.
Advantages:
• It can store large amount of biogas.
• There is no need to climb high when use, observe and repair.
• This system is separated with fermentation cylinder, when one of this is under repair, the other will not be affected.

Membrane Mounted on Digester Tank Type

Shape : Sphere
The membrane structure is put on the top of the tank that biogas storage and output are in the whole structure. The whole structure likes the ball.
Advantages:
* Costs less than Mounted on Surface of land.
* This system can be both regarded as top tap of the tank and the storage system. This saves space and money.
* This is suitable for those projects of daily biogas-output at the middle or below.
* Save space.
